Yes, it did. And it is time that everyone recognize the shift that is occurring. For example, the average person will shift the focus of their career five to seven times. I have done that myself. Companies that refuse to embrace a "bottom up" approach to leverage the unique talents of each employee will find themselves facing a struggle to remain competitive in this new business landscape. The latest example would be the Grammy gatekeepers. Beyonce snubbed the Grammy's (even though she won one). On the other end is the Weeknd that gets totally left out despite being a smashing success. Hello, the gatekeepers are irrelevant and furthermore, they are tone deaf (pun intended).
