What I Changed to Make My Life Better and More Fulfilling

I sometimes wish that I could say my life has always been the way it is now. Yet we all know the truth: the path we take is filled with exactly what we need to become who we are.

Yet, I can look back and see times when I did not fully embrace what life was trying to teach me. I believed that life was a certain way and so it was a certain way. I look back and see the decisions I made or avoided making, and realize that my beliefs were the source of most of my problems.

One thing I have always believed is this: you don’t have to make every mistake in life; you can learn from others. This one belief promoted within me a yearning to learn from others what I did not know through my own experiences. I have over 100 books on self-improvement and spiritual growth. Beyond that, I have experimented with all kinds of techniques on my road to a better me.

Here are the best lessons I have learned.

Believe you deserve better

One of the most powerful things I have done is to raise my belief level. We are steeped in a culture that tells us in various ways how we don’t measure up.
