The whole purpose of Medium.com is to give ALL writers, that is people who write, an OPPORTUNITY to publish what THEY WANT to publish. This is not curated content vetted by gatekeepers. I suggest that if you want that, go back to purchasing books from a local bookstore. Or better yet, visit your local library.

I once pointed out to one of my English professors the various ways her beloved author had butchered the grammatical rules. She let me know that "real" writers had authority to break those rules for creative purposes. So, I say it is time for everyone to have that same right - to break the rules and throw out the constrictive norms contrived by the elite.

Do you have something worth saying? Say it. And the people who want to hear it will clap, follow, and read your work. For those who read my work and decide not to clap, follow, or read further, I say, "I didn't make that for you."
