You know that feeling when you wake up on a Monday morning and get a feeling that the whole day will be bad? It’s those days where every little thing goes wrong. Let me tell you something about these “funky mood days.” They happen, they’re unavoidable by any means possible but sometimes we don’t even need one of them coming our way because COVID keeps throwing us into their world without warning or preparation for what might come next.
We all get there sometimes and it seems like this situation with COVID has made them more likely to happen. Your patience is spent, and it seems like nothing will be enough to make a difference. Let me tell you something about these “funky mood days.” They happen, they’re unavoidable.
When I was much younger, these days would catch me off guard. When I least expected it, I would wake up in a funky mood. And because I am generally an upbeat and cheerful person, I would become even more upset by the fact that I had a funky mood. Of course, that didn’t make it better.
