Great summary. I only see one thing missing: begin with the customer - the target audience - the key stakeholder. What are their needs and expectations? If you miss this, you will spend a lot of time trying to "sell" them on YOUR idea rather than connecting them your proposal to what they want and need. So, before #4, create a persona, empathy map, or stakeholder analysis. This should be considered as part of your "data." Thanks for sharing.
