Good question. What I heard from the team was they felt disjointed not knowing what others were working on. We have also documented those status updates asynchronously. My team voted to keep the Friday meetings going because they also enjoy hearing others' wins for the week. We celebrate each other in those meetings. So it's a lot more going on than just capturing the information - it fosters connection and belonging.
