Bravo! Yes, that is a big rookie mistake for new managers. Prioritizing team tasks takes collaborative discussions with key stakeholders. I was taught wrongly that "The customer is always right." That is true to a certain extent. Sometimes the customer is wrong and needs to be educated on the limitations of their request. Great article.
