Bravo! It is important to focus on what matters and put your time and energy there. I always feel better after I have completed a task. Driving to completion of tasks keeps me motivated.
Here is the single rule I have that keeps me from procrastinating: what can I do for the next 2 minutes to move forward on that? Perhaps it is sending an email or writing a reminder and posting it. Or for items requiring more time, putting an appointment on my calendar and sticking to a self agreement to work as hard as I can on it during that time.
Action of any kind in the direction of your goal is a motivator.
